RochelleFrank Bouquet of Flowers Ketubah (#870)

The background for this Bouquet of Flowers Ketubah is an original painting done in an acrylic watercolor style on Chinese rice paper. The first two were so successful that we decided to add another one to the series. The delicate nuances in color are achieved when the rice paper is wrinkled, then adhered to the background paper and covered with different shades of red for the background. The flowers and foliage are "found" in the folds of the rice paper and enhanced with color or lack thereof. These delicate blossoms beckon for a closer look and they will last forever.
